A Legend of the Pit’s Unconventional Game Fowl Breeding Method

Basketball legend Felix Trebol, 2012 Negros Gamefowl Breeders Association (NGBA) Breeder of the Year is on the cover of Pit Games Magazine Issue No. 57.

Felix imparts his unconventional game fowl breeding method. Like for example in his approach to ranging cockerels, he says he does not put the pullets with the cockerels in the range so that they don’t fight early and stay longer in the range.

Now considered as a legend of the pit, Felix is hands-on when it comes to breeding game fowl. This may be the reason why his chickens are healthy because he is known for giving excellent game fowl products to his feathered warriors. He is prudent in administering vaccination programs to his game fowls by working closely with veterinarians and his farm team.

In Pit Games Magazine (Issue No. 57), Dr. Ronnie Magbalon shares his battery breeding techniques, while Rene ‘Taba’ Dagohoy talks about how he became successful in backyard breeding.

Author Rey Bajenting unfolds the making of the Blakliz by applying breeding principles as a result of years of experiment. You will also be mesmerized by the Aseel breed researched by Pit Games correspondent in Pakistan.

Not tallying a good score in the cockpit lately? Atty. Ryan Abrenica, owner of RA Superfly Gamefarm reveals the 5 keys to winning in sabong.

Other interesting stories in Pit Games Magazine (Issue No. 57) include simplified breeding, Philippine native chickens, molting management, and looking at sabong from a larger perspective.
